For many years the British Council has worked closely with language schools and other institutions in Cyprus and we realise that our work would not be possible without your support. To strengthen our relationship, and as a way of saying thank you, we are very happy to announce the launch of the first edition of Addvantage – our new partnership programme.

We ensure exams are delivered to examination board standards so that they are fair for all candidates. This is why over 70 UK examination boards and educational institutions have chosen us to deliver their exams around the world.

Equal opportunities
We believe exams should be accessible to everyone.
The British Council in Cyprus, in cooperation with UK examination boards and educational institutions, makes it possible for candidates with special needs to sit UK qualifications. Our exams administrators, examiners and venue staff are trained to meet the special requirements of candidates who have learning difficulties such as dyslexia, as well as those with hearing, visual, kinetic or speech difficulties.
We also make special arrangements for candidates who have sustained accident-related injuries, such as broken arm, prior to the day of exam.
